Who is this course for?

This course is designed for those of you preparing for the ZKOBČ B1 language exam, which is required to obtain Czech citizenship. We will help you strengthen your grammar, expand your vocabulary, and practice all parts of the exam – in a systematic, practical, and stress-free way.

What can you expect in this course?


We’ll explain the full structure of the exam (Czech realia, reading, listening, writing, and speaking). You’ll learn how the exam is conducted and what examiners focus on. You will also get access to sample tests and practice materials.

B1 grammar in context
More advanced verb forms
Subordinate clauses (time, cause, condition)
Passive voice, reflexive verbs
Prepositional phrases and set expressions
Word order and sentence intonation

Development of all language skills
  • Reading comprehension – working with longer, authentic texts
  • Listening – practicing various types of listening tasks such as conversations, news, and instructions
  • Writing – exercises in writing requests, complaints, informal and formal messages, emails, and letters
  • Speaking – training for monologues, dialogues, picture descriptions, and argumentation
  • Language competence – tasks focused on grammar and vocabulary

Mock exam
